Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa relies on the generosity and support of the community to achieve high standards of excellence in patient care and education. Private contributions strengthen our funding resources allowing us to provide groundbreaking programs, services, and technologies to our patients.

This year's funding priorities are in support of Women's Services and are comprised of:
Nurse Navigator Program
Funding Need: $135,000
The nurse navigator provides skilled, compassionate consultation to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. She helps patients understand treatment options and provides referrals to appropriate support services. The demand for these services is increasing and there is a need to add a bilingual Navigator.

Integrative Health and Healing Program
Funding Need: $90,000
Services that support and enhance traditional medical treatment, including complementary therapies, support groups, individual and family counseling, and education classes.

Women’s Heart Advantage
Funding Need: $45,000
Education and screening program for women and heart disease. Women seeking mammograms at the Breast Care Center will be offered cardiac screening tests and cardiology referrals as needed.
